How do I install a netgear wireless router when it is missing the setup cd?
My dad bought a refurbished wireless router lacking the smartwizard cd- in it's place is a piece of paper directing me to download the software off of netgear's webiste, but I can't find the software anywhere for download- help!

- The netgear site is very good for software. If you let everyone know your router model - someone will give you the link. wdw
- Just Google "Manual and (insert model number here)".
- there should be a small buttion on the back of the router that you can push in with a pin to rest the router to the factory defaults. You can look up this on there web site. then once the ip is set to the default you should be able to access it from your internet with the default user ID and Password.
- go to the netgear website and look for the router and then download the drivers right from the website....
- Just find a number to netgear call them and they will mail you a CD. Always works for me.
- Take a look in downloads or support. Otherwise give them a call. http://www.netgear.com/
