Can I connect multiple wireless routers to create larger grid?

I am installing DSL in my house. The location of the wireless router will not be ideal to reach across my home. I have an extra wireless router and was hoping it could pick up and retransmit. I know there are boosters, but I was hoping not to have to pay for and install something I don't really need. Thanks!

2. Yes, you just need to set the extra router up as a bridge. Go into your settings to find where to do it.
