High Speed Wireless Router

How can i get my LINKSYS wireless-G broadband Router to work again?

I had bought a LINKSYS wireless-G broadband Router a while back and it has been working fine until one day my computer had a problem and had to turn everything off. Then, I tried to install it again and everything was plugged in where it should be.Then it went to the plugging in the power portion and I waited for a while.Suddenly, it told me that my computer couldn't detect the router. I did everything i could but it can detect it. PLEASE HELP!!

  1. check your adapter properties reboot modem router and pc in that order as well
  2. Turn off your modem, and router. Turn on the modem, wait about thirty seconds. Turn on the router, wait about thirty seconds. Restart your computer Good Luck
  3. One thing that will usually work is to delete the Ethernet adapter and reboot. The adapter will set up and find your network. Right click My Computer, select properties and then select the Hardware Tab. Click Device Manager Click the + next to Network Adapters. Right click the network adapter and select Uninstall. Reboot the computer. Windows XP will re-install the adapter and it should work. Norm
