If a router says its a broadband router does that mean i dont need a modem?
Is there a difference between a wireless router and a broadband router,or does the wireless router also act as a modem?

- If you have a broadband router, you still need a modem (unless of course you have a router with a built-in modem). The difference between a wireless router and a broadband router is pretty much what they sound like: one you have to directly plug a computer to and the other (wireless) you can connect to without using a cable (but you'll need a wireless adapter on the computer that you want network access for so that it can connect to the wireless router).
- you still need a modem. then hook this modem into the Internet port of your router. If you need help, e-mail me. good luck!
